Penjaringan Puskesmas Anticipates COVID-19 Transmission in Densely Populated Settlements

Anticipating COVID-19 transmission in densely populated settlements, Penjaringan Sub-district Puskesmas, North Jakarta targets to be more often in carrying out mass rapid test and socialization about healthy lifestyle and PSBB regulations implementation.

There is new cluster of COVID-19 cases in densely populated settlements by the end of April

Penjaringan Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Agus Arianto Haryoso mentioned, his main targets are Kampung Aquarium, Kampung Gusti, and Muara Baru.

"We provide rapid test and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) in accordance with the specified indications and procedures," he said, Wednesday (5/27).

His side also opens COVID-19 consultation for residents who need it. Furthermore, health teams from Puskesmas will also monitor regularly the condition of people under surveillance (ODP) and patients under observations (PDP) who are undergoing self-isolation via telephone.

"There is new cluster of COVID-19 cases in densely populated settlements by the end of April. Thus in the end of May, we hope the situation is under control and number of positive cases will decline," he closed.
